Exercise Physiologist - Therapeutic Cardiac Rehabilitation Services Billings Clinic is a community‑owned, not‑for‑profit, Physician‑led health system with over 4,700 employees, including 550 physicians and a 304‑bed hospital. This position is located at Billings Clinic Main Campus. Job Description: Assists patients in achieving optimal functional capacity through exercise, education, and risk factor modification. Develops and supervises exercise prescriptions for cardiovascular, pulmonary, and metabolic populations. Provides education on safe exercise principles and healthy lifestyle behaviors. Communicates with rehabilitation staff and other health care providers as part of a comprehensive team. Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Prepares and adjusts individual exercise prescriptions according to policy, patient status, and physician recommendations. Performs exercise with program participants ensuring correct body position and technique, and proper use of equipment. Assists with emergency care related to cardiac rehabilitation policy. Monitors program participants, reports inappropriate responses to prescribed exercise, and modifies exercise as needed. Documents initial and daily assessment data, prepares progress reports, final summaries, and records outcomes. Provides education on home exercise programs, equipment use, and healthy living. Assists in development and participation of wellness clinics, health fairs, and outreach clinics. Identifies personal growth needs, stays current with trends in exercise and rehabilitation. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science (Clinical Exercise Physiology preferred). Minimum of 6 months (600 hours) recent and relevant experience in a clinical exercise program. Current BLS and ACLS certification required or obtained within six months.
