This role plays an important part in supporting participating services by delivering high-quality, customer-focused payroll services in a fast-paced shared services environment.In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including HR and pay information loading, maintenance, and compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies. You will respond to payroll queries professionally and within agreed service levels, while working closely with colleagues to ensure payroll processes run smoothly each pay cycle.This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team, values accuracy and service excellence, and is motivated to contribute to continuous improvement while supporting a workforce that delivers vital healthcare services across the motu.About YouAs a Payroll Officer, you will bring:Experience working in payroll or accounts functionsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and complianceA customer-focused approach, with the ability to respond to payroll queries professionally and efficientlySound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelAn understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the ability to apply its principles in your everyday workExperience in a shared services or large organisational environment, and at least two years' payroll experience, will be advantageous.Working at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu OraHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
