Donor & Members Services Assistant (On-site)
Vesterheim Museum seeks a part-time, 25 hours/week, Donor and Member Services Assistant who will assist the Donor and Member Services Manager and the Database Coordinator with the daily activities related to donations and museum memberships such as data entry, filing and preparing bulk mailings. Ideal candidates will have excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products, an aptitude for databases and organization, and be detail oriented. A computer application skills test will be required of finalists.
Reports to: Donor and Member Services Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-time (25 hours/week)
Minimum requirements:
? An associate degree and two to three years of office experience is preferred.
? Aptitude in database systems; Raiser's Edge NXT experience preferred.
? Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
? Excellent data entry skills
? Skills to manage time appropriately, set priorities and tasks and work efficiently.
? Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
? Strong oral and written communications skills; service-oriented approach.
? Strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
? Provide administrative support and assistance to the Donor and Member Services Coordinator and Database Coordinator.
? Assists with data entry and electronic records management.
? Assists with the preparation and coordination of membership mailings (renewal, prospective, and membership packages)
? Filing documents
? Assisting with the updating of donor and membership records.
? Preparing bulking mailings
? Provides assistance and back up support to the Donor and Member Services Manager and Database Coordinator.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $15.25 - $16.25 per hour
