Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid RN license in Maryland Previous experience as an RN in schools or similar settings strongly preferred Comfort working with adults with disabilities Strong computer proficiency for documentation and care plan management Expertise in triage nursing, nursing delegation, and leading health assessments Skilled in conducting 45/90-day assessments, maintaining seizure logs, and G-tube feeding Ability to train staff on safe lifting and medication administration HRST (Health Risk Screening Tool) certification highly desirable Responsibilities: Complete thorough nursing assessments and update individualized care plans Support daily health needs by triaging situations and providing direct nursing interventions Delegate tasks as appropriate, maintaining clear communication with support personnel Attend team meetings and participate actively in collaborative care discussions Train staff on healthcare protocols, safe patient handling, and the administration of medications Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including assessments and seizure logs Utilize electronic health record systems and digital tools for reporting and tracking This full-time contract position delivers approximately 37.5 hours each week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM; Tuesday and Friday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM.
