Location: Houston, TX and surrounding areas Position Overview: Moore Security Solutions is hiring a reliable Spotter / Ground Technician to support our field crews on commercial security and low-voltage projects. This position plays a critical role in job site safety and efficiency by assisting lead technicians, managing materials, and acting as a dedicated safety spotter during lifts, ladder work, and equipment operation. It's a great entry point for individuals looking to build a career in the security and low-voltage industry. Key Responsibilities Act as a safety spotter for lifts, ladders, and overhead work to ensure a safe working environment Assist technicians with installation of access control, video surveillance (CCTV), alarm systems, and cabling Handle and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites Run cable, label wires, and assist with basic installation tasks as directed Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines Communicate clearly with team members to support efficient workflow Assist with loading/unloading materials and preparing job sites for daily work Qualifications Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Willingness to learn and grow in the low-voltage/security field Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on active construction sites Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Previous construction or general labor experience Basic knowledge of hand and power tools OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay On-the-job training with opportunities to advance into technician roles Consistent work on commercial projects across the Houston area A team-focused environment that values safety, reliability, and growth In this digital age, we're more dependent on electronics and electricity than ever.DITEK Surge Protectionis a proactive investment to safeguard your most valuable electronic and digital assets.
