Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 25 Inpatients
Admissions: Yes
Rounding: ICU/Post-Operative Rounding
Phone Consults: Cath Lab, Inpatient, and ER
Case Mix: CABG, AVR, Urgent Cardiothoracic Surgery
No. of Beds in Department: 220+ Hospital Beds
Trauma Level: Level III
EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: Standard CT Surgery Clinic
Specialty Backup Available: Full Cardiology Program Including TAVR
Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary Surgical Team
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 3060 Days
Compensation: TBD
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
Required Procedures: CABG, Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR), TAVR, Emergency Cardiothoracic Surgery
Job Requirements: Active Indiana Medical License, Board Certified, Active DEA Preferred, BLS (AHA), Experience: More Than 2 Years, Clean Background; Flu/COVID Vaccination or Approved Exemption
Duties & Responsibilities: Perform scheduled cardiothoracic surgery, Conduct afternoon clinic, Round on post-operative ICU patients, Take Cath Lab, inpatient, and ER call, Complete order entry in Epic
