SQL Server DBA & Developer

Requirements

• 6 or more years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration and T-SQL development.

• Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and automated ETL workflows.

• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI dashboard creation.

• Experience in SQL database performance monitoring, index tuning, and maintenance execution.

• Experience with application backend integration, schema architecture, and stored procedure optimization.

• Experience in configuring database backups, disaster recovery routines, and user security permissions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database health, uptime, and performance metrics across production SQL Server instances.

• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain ETL data pipelines and transformation packages using SSIS.

• Build and support operational enterprise reports and interactive visualizations in SSRS and Power BI.

• Optimize complex T-SQL scripts, views, triggers, and query execution plans for maximum efficiency.

• Collaborate with application engineering teams to support software deployments and database integrations.

• Execute routine database administration tasks including patching, disaster recovery testing, and backups.

• Identify and remediate database bottlenecks, blocking queries, deadlocks, and system errors.
