Job Title: Parks Clerk

Department: Purchasing Department

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm
With one (1) Saturday per month
Thirty (30) minute lunch

Location: Northville, MI Shop Office

Reports to: Purchasing Department Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To provide clerical and inventory support for the maintenance shop office by working as part of the Purchasing Department team.

JOB DUTIES
Assist with pricing parts with various vendors and ordering parts once approved
Reviewing purchase order book once a week to verify if parts have been received if not call to inquire on delivery status
Check parts in as they are delivered and verifying part against purchase order
Assist in putting parts away in designated locations, up to 50 lbs.
Keep special order parts area and organized
Every Monday, check welding gases and propane tanks to verify what supplies are needed then place order. This is a critical job function.
Ensure all part cores are returned in a timely manner, including checking parts table and front counter
Enter all work orders daily into fleet maintenance program and then file accordingly, except when orders involve tires
Keep all tire work orders organized and separated by company
Maintain truck board and update with dates as the following items are completed for each unit: PMA, PMB, all tires, transmission replacement, engine rebuilds, and other designated fields.
Maintain and update truck unit folders with all major part numbers and install dates
Filing all outside work invoices and major parts purchased documents in designated truck unit file
Other duties as needed including but not limited to:
