Agronomy Apprentice Position - $1500 Sign-on BONUS! Job Type: Full-Time - Hourly - Livermore, IA Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm *Extended hours including weekends during peak season Salary

• 21.00 - $23.00 per hour
• 45K - $48K per year

Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance STD/LTD Benefits Medical/Child Care Flexible Spending 401k with company match, Pension Plan Paid Time Off/Holidays CDL Reimbursement Responsibilities Responsible for learning Gold-Eagle Agronomy products, services, and inventory management Assist in equipment maintenance and service records Calibrate machines to a field ready status before each season Maintain professional quality of work in and out of the field Maintain and grow local business with dignity, honesty, and class Attend mandatory Gold-Eagle Agronomy meetings throughout the year Have a desire to learn the trade Learn crop production systems; crop scouting and staging, herbicides, seed placement and recommendations and beyond Fertilizer/soil sampling with recommendations based on analysis and yield goals Ability to blend fertilizer and follow label when blending crop protection products Ability to read maps, follow directions, operate equipment with computer-assisted operations Good communication skills – verbal and written Very high level of motivation and organizational skills Work well with others so they can take instructions from the agronomy sales team; effective listening is critical Training / Experience Agricultural background Previous experience not required Product training and field days Career advancement and all other trainings suggested by senior staff Custom Applicator's License/CDL - recommended but not required; we will train Physical Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record #J-18808-Ljbffr Gold-Eagle Cooperative
