Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.Role ResponsibilitiesArc and gas welding, cutting, brazing, silver and soft solderingInterpret blueprints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping) for machines and buildingsTroubleshoot electrical A/C and D/C circuits using electrical metering equipmentTroubleshoot hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot pneumatic systemsUse basic shop tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, grinders, etc.Install and relocate equipmentRun conduit for electrical servicesWork at heightsMaintain preventative maintenance programs in assigned areasPlan, implement, and finalize assigned projects with minimal supervisionProvide positive feedback for corrective action plans to improve equipment reliabilityWork in a team oriented atmosphereRepair production equipment in a manner such to minimize interruption to productionMaintain buildings and grounds as neededInspect, dismantle, service, reassemble, test and adjust equipment of all types for safe and proper operationMaintain a clean and orderly work area, and take proper care of tools and equipmentComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresMinimum QualificationsA combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience.Ability to use and understand electrical test equipmentAbility to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and a customer comes 1st attitudeAbility to multi-task and prioritize individual workload to minimize equipment downtimeExcellent communication skills (verbal & written)Good Computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Excel, Outlook)Self-motivated, detail oriented with excellent work habitsAbility to productively work at heights for extended periodsKnowledge of OSHA standardsContinue education as it applies to technical job requirementsAdhere to safety proceduresMaintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendancePreferred QualificationsRead blueprints and schematicsUnderstand pumps and valves and their applicationUnderstand refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipmentKnowledge of industrial electric symbols and line diagrams, control logic-line diagrams, AC/DC motors, motor starters and motor controllersKnowledge and work experience in the areas of Industrial Electric (NEC) and electronic systemsComplete Arc Flash TrainingComplete annual training for authorized employees in LOTOImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).Donaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.Keywords: Welding, Maintenance, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, BlueprintsEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and VeteransEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
