Purpose/Objective of the Role:
To assist Academic Assistant and Faculty with operations of the department and preparation for classes
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Check Mail/duplicating
- Update website and lobby bulletin boards
- Create and post flyers for upcoming events, attend events
- Answer visitor questions and provide building directions
Qualifications:
- Canva experience for making flyers and other documents
- General office skills
Potential Future Career Benefit:
- To gain experience in general office skills
- Become familiar with the working of an academic office
- Develop relationships and networking skills
Employment sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Commitment: 10-12 hours per week
Term: Fall 26 & Spring 27, temporary, part-time position
