Senior SAP FI Professional

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI Consultant to join our team and take a lead role in delivering high-quality SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and other technical consultants to implement, customize, and enhance the SAP FI module. Your expertise will help drive projects from blueprint to go-live, ensuring alignment with client needs and SAP best practices. As a Senior SAP FI Professional, you will have the opportunity to work on S/4HANA projects, digital transformations, and financial process optimizations, making an impact across industries. Key Responsibilities: SAP FI Implementation & Customization : Lead the implementation of the SAP FI module , including General Ledger (GL) , Accounts Payable (AP) , Accounts Receivable (AR) , Asset Accounting (AA) , and Bank Accounting (BA) . Business Process Analysis : Work with clients to analyze and understand their financial processes, translating business requirements into efficient SAP FI solutions. Solution Design & Configuration : Configure the SAP FI module to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and legal requirements. S/4HANA Migrations : Participate in or lead S/4HANA finance transformation projects, ensuring that SAP FI processes are optimized for the new environment. Integration with Other Modules : Collaborate with other SAP module experts (e.g., CO , MM , SD ) to integrate financial processes across the enterprise. Reporting & Analysis : Support the development of financial reports and analysis tools using SAP FICO reporting features and tools like SAP BW or SAP Analytics Cloud . Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level troubleshooting for SAP FI issues, ensuring smooth operation of financial processes. User Training & Documentation : Develop and deliver user training sessions, and maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and financial processes. Project Leadership : Act as a project leader or key contributor in SAP FI-related projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables. Compliance & Audits : Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements by leveraging SAP FI functionalities. Qualifications: Experience : 5+ years of experience in SAP FI implementation, configuration, and support, including GL , AP , AR , AA , and BA . S/4HANA Expertise : Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration projects. Integration Knowledge : Strong understanding of the integration between SAP FI and other modules (e.g., CO , MM , SD ), and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Financial Acumen : In-depth knowledge of financial accounting processes, including closing operations, taxation, consolidation, and reporting. Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex financial business requirements and translate them into SAP FI configurations and enhancements. Problem-solving : Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP FI efficiently. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Project Management : Experience in managing SAP projects, including resource allocation, project planning, and delivery.
