Aquatic Spray Technician

Location: The Villages, Palmetto, Tampa, Orlando & Fort Myers. About the position We are looking for an experienced and friendly Aquatic Spray Technician with a background in herbicide application, a passion for outdoor work and a desire to help preserve Florida ecosystems. Key responsibilities Apply herbicides and aquatic pesticides to control invasive plant species in lakes, ponds and wetlands. Operate and maintain spraying equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor treated areas and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Collaborate on vegetation-management plans. Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations. Work outdoors in Florida weather and maintain accurate activity records. Qualifications Previous herbicide-application or aquatic plant-management experience. Florida Category 5 pesticide applicator license is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, communication and safety.
