SUMMARY OF JOB:Delivers quality health care to patients in their homes and in an inpatient setting with emphasis on the provision of complementary therapies to hospice palliative care patients and their families. A primary way staff connect to our mission is by collaborating with all team members in promoting an environment that provides quality, compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care and supports all internal and external customersRECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:Certification in complementary therapy (massage, reflexology, healing touch, yoga, aromatherapy or other complementary-related therapy).Minimum of 1 year complimentary therapy experience preferably working with palliative/hospice population Demonstrated professional, empathetic, open, and responsive communication, actively listens, provides a meaningful presence, and exhibits a non-judgmental approach in the care of patients and families.Demonstrates cultural competence by respecting and honoring the unique diversity and characteristics of patients, families and colleagues.
