Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Acute Neuro)

Location

Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Varies)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Acute Neurology/Medical-Surgical unit
• Monitor and assess neurological and medical-surgical patients throughout assigned shifts
• Support unit operations including coverage of overflow bed capacity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical or Acute Neurology nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior experience in an acute neurology or neuro step-down setting
