Pay Rate: $21.18/Hr

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for conversion to full-time employee based on business need, budget approval, and performance)

Shift / Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Summary

This is an entry-level position focused on packing boxes and palletizing product. Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks
• Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required
• Support material handling as necessary
• Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers
• Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
• Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules
• Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above
• Accept full accountability for product quality
• Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday
• Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation
• Ensure the smooth operation of the production line (candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line)
• Demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area
• Exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production

Education Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• 100% onsite at manufacturing facility
• Standing for extended periods to package and label product
• Lifting, moving, and carrying products weighing up to 20 pounds
• Supporting a closed production line with no physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals
• Safety glasses, hair nets, and gloves provided by employer
• Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots
• In-person onsite interview required
