Deadline to apply: June 29, 2026, 8:00 AM CDT Position Requirements Must be at least 16 years of age Ability to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs and navigate venue aisles Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 60 minutes at a time) Must be able to work at least 80 hours per fiscal year Availability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as required Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service Essential Functions and Responsibilities All Front of House staff members are cross‑trained and expected to perform multiple roles, including Usher , Admissions , and Lobby Attendant . All Front of House Roles Communicate with guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Enforce venue policies and procedures appropriately Maintain a basic understanding of the venue layout to assist guests with directions (lobbies, theater entrances, restrooms, emergency exits) Work scheduled events as assigned Perform other duties as assigned Usher Oversee assigned areas inside the venue and monitor guest activity Assist guests with locating seats and identifying emergency exits Communicate with supervisors and security via radio regarding guest concerns Distribute programs and related materials Clean assigned areas post‑performance (e.g., collecting programs, water bottles) Admissions Monitor ticket scanning at entrances to ensure all guests are properly admitted Maintain knowledge of ticketing issues and communicate with guests and the Ticket Office as needed Understand and enforce age policies for specific performances Operate and troubleshoot ticket‑scanning technology Lobby Attendant Provide coverage throughout the venue, assisting with guest questions and flow Guide guests in lines (restrooms, concessions, etc.) to improve efficiency Support overall crowd management efforts Critical Success Competencies Diversity & Respect – Possesses universal respect for views, ideas, backgrounds, attributes, and appearances different from one’s own.
