Linux Engineer

Linux Engineer The position will support EDM application operations as Tier 2, supervise a team of EDM technicians (Tier 1), provide guidelines and SOP, process escalated tickets, and deliver necessary training. Essential Responsibilities Act as liaison among shift members, system engineers, and stakeholders. Create SOP, manage KPI to improve job performance, provide training, design drill scenarios and conduct evaluations, support second‑level issues escalated by Tier1 staff, contact the HQ EDM team for third‑level support, analyze user requirements and provide feedback. Improve policies and procedures, guide technical questions and issues. Support the Manager with MBO definition and evaluation, participate in management meetings, and provide reports as needed. Requirements 6+ years supporting or troubleshooting applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Korean & English. More than 5 years of experience with Linux OS. Server and application experience; above‑middle‑level technical experience with CentOS, Rocky, or RedHat Linux. Leadership: reporting skills for senior level and weekly/monthly team evaluations. Preferred Experience operating middleware such as Apache or Tomcat and supporting preventive maintenance. Customer‑service experience with emphasis on manufacturing‑system knowledge. Team collaboration to resolve issues and ensure integration with related systems. Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Understanding of software upgrades’ impact on systems and users.
