Travel ER Nurses Needed ASAP

Travel ER RN 14‑week travel assignment in Augusta, Georgia. Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN. Responsibilities Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved emergency nursing techniques and protocols. Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations. Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department, responding to immediate needs. Observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice. Respond to life‑saving situations based upon emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols. Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR). Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs, considering the acute nature of emergency care. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards. Qualifications One year of recent experience as an ER RN. Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations. Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Physical ability: remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Mental requirement: cope with frequent contact with the general public and meet deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally or independently.
