Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a primarily Medical Surgical patient population within a telemetry-capable unit
• Manage and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes (including new diagnoses and complications), surgical diagnoses, and surgical observation needs
• Care for Palliative, End of Life, Hospice, and Psychiatric Observation patients as appropriate
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
• Float to other facility campuses within the health system as needed
• Complete non-billable unit-based orientation modules as required during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must successfully pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts permitted; study materials are not provided)
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license must be submitted to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
