Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Augusta, GA working in an outpatient setting. You will treat general orthopedic and gait, core, and orthopedics (GCO) patients referred from orthopedic physicians for post-operative care or conservative management to avoid surgery. Clinicians work under a licensed Physical Therapist and have access to physician notes. Typical productivity expectation is approximately 2 patients per hour (about 13 patients per day). Experience with outpatient clinical workflows and the WebPT electronic medical record is used. Submit your resume to begin the process. A recruiter will follow up with the details.

Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program. Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient orthopedics experience or new graduate with recent outpatient clinical experience. Proficiency with WebPT EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with post-operative orthopedic patients. Experience achieving productivity targets in an outpatient clinic (approximately 2 pts/hr).

Assignment Details Clinic uses WebPT electronic medical record. Clinician access to orthopedic physicians' notes for referred patients.
