Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on ERJ-145 and avionics proficiency)

• Starting Bonus: No signing bonus offered

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case assistance negotiated for highly qualified out-of-state candidates

• Shift: 4x10 Night Shift (4 consecutive nights on, followed by 3 days off)

Job Summary 

We are seeking two highly skilled A&P Mechanics with an Embraer ERJ-145 line maintenance background to anchor a fast-paced night-shift operation at MIA. This role demands mechanics who excel under time constraints while ensuring peak safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with 14 CFR Part 43 and Part 135 repair station regulations by maintaining precise logbooks, return-to-service records, and work orders.

• Execute overnight aircraft servicing, A-checks, daily/weekly inspections, rapid-turn line maintenance, and MEL-related troubleshooting for ERJ-145 and Saab 340 fleets.

• Identify and resolve complex electrical, avionics, powerplant (Rolls-Royce AE 3007), and mechanical discrepancies utilizing OEM manuals and FAA guidelines.

• Deploy for short-term outstation support assignments in the Caribbean based on fluctuating operational demands.

• Utilize your own fundamental A&P hand tools in conjunction with company-provided diagnostic equipment, ground support gear, and specialty tooling.

Minimum Requirements

• Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license in good standing, meeting 14 CFR 65.83 recent experience standards.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-certification, hands-on maintenance experience specifically on Embraer ERJ-145 airframes.

• Must successfully pass all DOT/FAA drug screenings and rigorous background checks to obtain CBP clearance and MIA SIDA badging.

• Possession of a standard set of basic A&P tools (a master list will be provided upon onboarding).

• Physical capability to safely work outdoors on the flight line, climb scaffolding and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Ideal Qualifications

• Active U.S. Passport to facilitate international travel for outstation support.

• Previous hands-on maintenance experience with Saab 340 turboprop airframes.

• Demonstrated avionics troubleshooting proficiency (e.g., Honeywell Primus 1000) or an active FCC license.
