General Laborer (Yardworker)

Position Overview We are seeking dependable and hardworking Yardworkers to support operations for a client in the metal recycling industry. This position is responsible for assisting with general labor duties throughout an outdoor industrial recycling facility, including housekeeping, material handling, sorting, and customer service support. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Perform general labor duties throughout the recycling yard and facility Sort, move, and organize recyclable materials safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards across the yard and work areas Assist customers with unloading and directing materials Support material handling operations using hand tools and equipment Follow all company safety procedures and site rules Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to maintain production flow Complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous general labor, warehouse, recycling, or industrial experience preferred Strong work ethic and ability to work in outdoor conditions year-round Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to approximately 50 pounds regularly Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work safely in an industrial environment Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and kneeling Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely perform physical labor in an active industrial setting #J-18808-Ljbffr Turner-Mining-Group-LLC
