Rehab And Nursing Center-LeffingwellThe Rehab and Nursing Center – Leffingwell was designed with healing in mind. The center offers 80 private rooms, each with an accessible bathroom, comfortable seating for guests, a large screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and beautiful nature views. In addition to a dedicated interdisciplinary team, physical, occupational, recreation and speech therapists will provide patients with a customized therapy program designed to meet individual rehabilitation needs. Our expert team of therapists will use the latest technology and techniques to maximize independence and mobility to help prepare patients to return home. Amenities include: 5,500 sq ft gym Private dining area Three courtyards Beauty salon All private patient rooms with bathroom, including shower Four common lounge areas with activity roomsScope of workAssumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service. Some service lines may require the ability to be available for on-call to better support the nursing services. Assists with development of policies, procedures and processes in coordination with unit leaders to ensure the highest quality services are provided at all times to all customers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: department based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement and maintenance of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships. Will provide oversight to the registered nurse and licensed practical nurse clinical practices. Will participate in on-call duties as assigned.
