Position Overview: The Operations Supervisor manages the team’s workflow, assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and serving as a liaison between employees and upper management. Supervisors coach staff and resolve issues. Work Location: This is an on‑site role. Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $70,000–$80,000 plus bonus, PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and additional benefits. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers. Follow established operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, disposition of materials, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory. Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates. Help maintain attendance and tardiness records. Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures. Investigate accidents and prepare reports. Provide on‑the‑job coaching and training to ensure associate skills remain at desired levels. Coordinate vacations, payroll, and timesheets for associates and temporary workers, address complaints, and address associate concerns regarding productivity and quality of work. Oversee hourly associates. Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for a food‑grade warehouse. Requirements High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehousing role. Strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Bi‑lingual, Spanish speaking, a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
