Your Role Awaits

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering required diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or solo (based on certification)
• Educating patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to guarantee holistic care
• Maintaining comprehensive and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure valid in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or equivalent specialty credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
