Key Responsibilities for the Tax Manager:
• Review, sign, and deliver individual, business, partnership, and related tax returns.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 200-250 annual tax engagements.
• Provide proactive tax planning and strategic advisory services to clients.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships while assisting with succession planning efforts.
• Partner with the Head of Tax on complex tax matters, reviews, and client deliverables.
• Leverage technology and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience.
Qualifications for the Tax Manager:
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of tax experience within public accounting or a similar environment.
• Proven tax return review and signature authority experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload of 200+ returns or engagements annually.
• Experience providing direct client advisory and tax planning services.
• Strong aptitude for technology, automation, and modern tax workflows.
