Immerse yourself in fast-paced, high-impact imaging practice. You’ll collaborate with a supportive network, including 24/7 radiologist coverage and other experienced MRI technologists. Whether working solo or part of a team, you’ll master advanced technology—Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T—and contribute to neurology-focused care in acute settings. Experience with Cerner EMR is a plus, aligning with modern, progressive healthcare standards.

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekend rotation based on unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage determined by department needs
• Typically 2 weeks of in-depth orientation

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of acute MRI experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Current BLS and ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification
• Active KY state license or eligibility via grandfathering
• Strong experience with neuro/imaging cases, spine, strokes, head trauma
• Confident, compassionate patient care and positive team attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams, with an average of 6-7 cases per shift (up to 40/day unit-wide)
• Collaborate with department staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Document and report findings using Cerner EMR
• Support neuro patients and assist with student athlete imaging needs
• Maintain high standards in equipment use and safety protocols
