YOUR ROLE As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Through your leadership, your team always nails floorset execution, and rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards. Job Description As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your Responsibilities You are a leader on duty, driving sales by maximizing fitting room and sales floor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience. You contribute to the store's financial success by analyzing reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and developing short- and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs. You innovate merchandising: you coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and ensure the store is always representative of AEO brand standards. You handle day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, replenishment, and have a keen eye for merchandising opportunities to take action. You lead people: you motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, hold them accountable to customer service standards, especially on the sales floor and in the fitting room. You recruit, hire, and train talent: you prioritize staffing to meet business needs, and you develop your team to provide outstanding service. Teamwork: you consistently provide ongoing performance feedback, real-time coaching, team touchbases, development plans, performance reviews, and celebrate team achievements. You innovate operations: you execute and innovate daily procedures, support visual standards throughout the store, keep fitting rooms guest-ready, and maintain brand standards. Integrity: you maintain safety standards, asset protection, and adhere to AEO policies and procedures. You'd Be Great For This Role If You love AE and Aerie products.
