Job Description

This position assumes responsibility and accountability for providing nursing care for patients and their families. Expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care is expected. The RN will collaborate with providers, staff, and other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes while overseeing daily patient flow to enhance care, safety, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patient requests for services.
• Deliver patient education to facilitate the plan of care and promote optimal wellness.
• Delegate care appropriately according to Colorado statute.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care with other practices and facilities to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
• Utilize Relationship-Based Care to advocate for safety and optimal communication with patients and families.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
