Description: The department specializes in CT (Computed Tomography) imaging. The technologist will perform general ER and outpatient studies. The department is equipped with 2 scanners. They will not be required to float or cover other areas. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is variable. They will utilize an EMR and PACS system for records. Department specific equipment includes Philips and Toshiba systems. Radiology staff includes an in-house radiologist. Starting IVs is not a requirement for this role. Shifts will be from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. There is no weekend or holiday requirement. Call is required, with an expectation of two shifts per month. Scrubs are provided and the dress code color is teal. Department-specific orientation is provided. The cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts within the contract duration.
