Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves performing computerized tomography scans according to established protocols under the supervision of certified radiologists. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position entails assisting with procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals; successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography Program preferred; one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred; current certification in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); or current RSFH teammate with a high school diploma or GED and a permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA; ARRT registered in CT preferred; current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
• Additional Information: The role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients up to 50 lbs, and exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and risks associated with radiation. The technologist must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations. The position requires flexibility to work under stressful conditions, including taking call and working weekends or holidays as needed.
