Discover What’s Possible with a career, at Weber. Summary Weber Blackstone’s Supply Chain team is looking to hire a Global Trade Compliance Manager. This role will be the subject matter expert on trade compliance matters, including import and export for US, but also familiar with other country regulations; country of origin; USMCA; other trade agreements; and supply chain Security. The role leads a team of Trade Compliance Analysts. This is a hybrid role in the Palatine, IL office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned
- Manage all aspects of company trade activities -
- All import/export paperwork meets trade compliance requirements and Weber
- Point of Contact with US Customs
- Advise on governmental and legal issues regarding trade compliance
- Oversee Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program (C-TPAT)
- Enhance the international trade compliance program by driving implementation
- Manage and develop a team of Global Compliance Analysts
- Identify trade compliance enhancement opportunities and design and implement
- Conduct training on trade compliance matters and supply chain security
- Active participation in trade compliance enhancement initiatives by
- Process optimization, standardization and documentation
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with ability
