Sr. Software Engineer, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and application development teams on application design and feature delivery.
• Implement significant portions of frontend systems and help other engineers with implementation.
• Own features end to end, from product and design collaboration through shipping and monitoring impact.
• Build developer frameworks, platforms, and frontend pipeline improvements that increase developer velocity, code quality, and code health.
• Drive frontend operational excellence through reliability, performance, instrumentation, measurability, and application performance monitoring.
• Perform design and code reviews and mentor engineers on best practices and patterns.
• Identify improvements to frontend systems and drive technical changes that improve developer experience and time to ship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UI development experience.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular Frameworks.
• Experience with SpringBoot and React.
• Knowledge of Jenkins.
• Ability to work in full stack development; backend systems knowledge is a plus.
• Track record of driving change in engineering organizations and delivering business outcomes.
• Ability to motivate people, instill accountability, achieve results, and establish credibility with engineers.
