Functional Medicine Practice

Part-time 1 day per week IN OFFICE for both in-person & telemedicine care. THIS IS IN ON-SITE, IN-OFFICE ROLE

Days: Friday

***The likelihood of increasing to 2 days per week would be in the very near future. We are a very busy & thriving practice!

We have built something different. We are a rapidly growing, full-spectrum integrative and functional medicine clinic in Orlando focused on root-cause healing, evidence-based functional medicine, hormone optimization, longevity, prevention, metabolic health and truly individualized care. We just celebrated our 5 year anniversary and we hold the title of Orlando's Best 2024, 2025 & 2026 AND Best of Florida 2025 & 2026. We love what we do! Our staff includes 2 acupuncture physicians and 2 wonderful APRNs. Our patients are highly engaged, informed, motivated, and looking for providers who will listen, educate, collaborate, and guide.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable managing:

• Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) including testosterone utilizing the most up-to-date guidance and having a true passion for the art of hormone replacement
• Hormone imbalances/dysregulations
• Thyroid optimization (thyroid disease and subclinical)
• All aspects of primary care and medication management
• Medical weight loss & metabolic health
• Open to Functional Medicine & root-cause approaches (we have training available on these)
• Longevity & preventative medicine
• Nutritional and lifestyle medicine
• Integrative psychiatry / mood support
• Complex chronic illness cases
• Supplement knowledge (note, we believe "less is best" in regards to supplements)
• Comfortable in identifying patients that would benefit from other services we offer, including acupuncture

Qualifications & Professional Expectations:

• Active Florida AUTONOMOUS (REQUIRED) APRN License *there are no supervising MD/DO-we only have APRN on staff.
• DEA License Required
• Family Nurse Practitioner due to the ages we see
• Preference for bilingual, English/Spanish
• Medical Malpractice required
• Menopause HRT Training or Clinical Experience Mandatory
• Open to Functional Medicine integrations within an evidence-based structure
• Long-term contract preferred - we are looking for stability for our patients and staff family
• Experience, confidence and comfortability in the aforementioned treatment areas
• Ability to manage both conventional and integrative approaches appropriately
• Strong communication skills and bedside manner
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn
• Must be compassionate, emotionally intelligent, professional and team-oriented
• Must value collaboration and shared decision-making with patients
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance are essential. Chronic absenteeism or unreliability are not conducive to our practice culture or the level of patient care we strive to provide
• Must understand the importance of consistency and continuity of care in a relationship-based practice

Compensation & Perks:

• Starting 1 day per week in-office on Friday. Hours are negotiable; prefer a traditional schedule but open to evening times as well
• PAID admin & chart prep time within your shift
• Flexibility to grow with us; we do see another day being added in soon
• Patient visits average 30-60 minutes; average patients 8-10 per day
• No weekends or after hours call
