Job Description

A Production Technician is accountable for job setup, inspections, first-article creation and development, and processing customer parts per customer requirements, while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rate requirements. This role supports employee supervision and trains personnel.

Key Accountabilities

Meet or exceed organizational goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery

Knowledge expert on the processes of services offered in the department

Training new and existing employees to meet or exceed production requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be a Citizen of the United States of America or have a current Green Card
• General knowledge of department terminology
• Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and quality
• General computer skills and the ability to work with basic computer programs
• Ability to train and develop others to meet company goals and objectives
• Ability to operate a forklift throughout the workday
• Ability to balance workload effectively and stay organized
• Ability to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructions
• Ability to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionally
• Ability to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasion
• Ability to use hand tools requiring fine dexterity and precision
• Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requires
• Ability to withstand occasional odors
