Quick Facts Location: 21655 Biden Avenue, Georgetown, DE 19947 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Until further notice (permanent position) Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, no call, no weekends (with some weekend coverage) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Permanent Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license in DE, board certification in Psychiatry Experience: 2+ years inpatient psychiatry experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan CME stipend Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do Provide inpatient psychiatric care to an average of 18 patients daily Manage a variety of treatment disorders including anxiety, mood, personality, developmental, psychotic, substance use, and trauma-related disorders Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supported by EMR using WellSky Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe pharmacotherapy Support involuntary commitments and crisis stabilization procedures Participate in team meetings and case reviews Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations What You Need Required: Active medical license in Delaware Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry 2+ years inpatient psychiatric experience Familiarity with involuntary commitments and psychopharmacology Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Experience working in a hospital or psychiatric facility Knowledge of WellSky EMR system About the Assignment This inpatient psychiatry position at a leading facility in Georgetown, DE, offers a stable schedule with no weekend work, allowing you to enjoy work-life balance while practicing compassionate mental health care.
