LVT - Licensed Vet Tech
Join our team at Veterinary Referral Surgical Practice in Roswell, GA! We specialize in advanced surgical procedures for pets, providing compassionate high-quality care and expertise. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting the surgeons with surgeries, caring for animals pre and post op, and educating at discharge for post op care.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical preparation and induction
- Provide anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery care
- Proper use of veterinary terminology
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records and invoicing
- Administer fluid therapy and medications
- Educate clients on post-operative care
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of surgical sterile prep procedures
- Knowledgeable of surgical instrumentation
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and induction
- Proficient in drug calculations
- Proficient in animals handling (dogs and cats)
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Minimum Salary: $58,000.00
- Maximum Salary: $65,000.00
