As a Staff Nurse (LPN), you will:Directly impact lives: Play a vital role in supporting individuals during a crucial phase of their recovery journey.Support our mission: Directly contribute to our life-changing goal to help individuals break free from the bonds of addiction.Career growth opportunities: Take advantage of our commitment to employee growth, with access to continued education, training, and advancement opportunities within the organization.Foster a collaborative and diverse environment: Work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team that reflects the diverse communities we serve, with many members bringing firsthand recovery experiences, all committed to patient-centered care.Position Details:Reports to: Nursing SupervisorSchedule: Per-diem, as needed schedule.Location: Lake Worth, FLKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including ASAM forms.Provide routine care at various levels of care.Identify treatment needs, integrating findings into collaborative, measurable treatment plans.Complete nursing documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements.Review medication logs and assist the medical department in a variety of tasks.Administer medications as directed by the medical provider.Facilitate medication education and incorporate nursing and medical issues into treatment plans.Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources to provide progress updates and coordinate post-discharge recovery plans.Apply clinical judgment and intervention skills in crisis situations, including risk assessments and de-escalation.Tailor nursing approaches to meet diverse patient needs.Build rapport and foster trust with patients through strong interpersonal skills.Required Qualifications:Active LPN license in Florida.Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of Nursing.Strong assessment and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.Ability to maintain objectivity and empathy in patient interactions.Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics.Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in behavioral/mental health, acute care, detox, or mental health facilities.Familiarity with KIPU EMR system.Personal Characteristics:Empathy & Compassion: You genuinely care for patients facing substance use and mental health challenges.Objectivity & Professionalism: You provide nursing care and make decisions with a non-judgmental, ethical approach.Communication & Resilience: You build trust and rapport with patients, families, and colleagues while staying composed in difficult situations.Attention to Detail: You ensure patient safety and compliance through precise assessments, medication administration, and thorough documentation.Team Collaboration: You work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.Accountability & Integrity: You uphold confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards.Comprehensive Benefits include:Medical, Vision and Dental InsuranceWhole and Term Life InsuranceShort and Long-term disability Insurance401(k) Benefit with Employer MatchPaid Time Off7 Paid Holidays, inclusive of a floating Holiday to use at your discretion.Employee Assistance and Referral ProgramsApply Now!
