Medical Recruitment Strategies
Position: Interim Pharmacist Location: Forrest City, AR Coverage Needed: ASAP start 2–3 days per week for approximately 2+ months (until a permanent hire is made) Flexible schedule; days will be coordinated with the Director of Pharmacy Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM No weekends No on-call responsibilities Requirements: Active Arkansas Pharmacist License (required) Hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical and operational pharmacy skills Ability to work independently in a small hospital environment Key Responsibilities: Verify medication orders Perform IV compounding Provide oversight and support to pharmacy technicians Ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing practices Support pharmacy operations in an acute care hospital setting Hospital Environment: Acute Care Hospital Medical/Surgical ICU Women’s Health Pharmacy Systems: Order Entry System: MedHost (onsite training provided) Automation: Pyxis ES (experience not required) Pharmacy Team: 1 Full-Time Pharmacist 1 Pharmacy Technician Technician Support Includes: Pyxis refills Removal of expired medications Crash cart checks Medication area inspections Unit-dose support Orientation/Training: 2–3 days of onsite orientation Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $65 - $70 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
