Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse - Neuromusculoskeletal Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Med Surg experience License: RN License (NYS) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), NIHSS, Telemetry Experience Required Must-Have: - Minimum of two years of experience in Med Surg - NYS RN License - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) - Telemetry Experience - NIHSS Certification Description: The Level II Registered Nurse is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards. This role involves clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research based on evidence. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role. Responsibilities may include serving as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member as needed.
