Position: Content Writer - Digital Customer Experience
Location: Fort Worth, Texas, 5 days a week on site

PTR Global is seeking an experienced Content Writer to support the Digital Customer Experience team of a leading airline. This role will focus on creating clear, accurate, and customer-friendly content for high-traffic digital channels, including web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience translating complex policy, operational, and technical information into concise content that customers can easily understand and act upon. This position requires strong digital writing and editing skills, experience working within an enterprise content management system, and a portfolio demonstrating customer-facing digital content.
Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, publish, and maintain customer-facing content across web, mobile, and other digital channels.
  
• Translate complex policies, technical requirements, and operational information into clear, concise customer communications.
  
• Develop content for transactional and functional digital experiences, including error messages, instructions, terms and conditions, product descriptions, alerts, and service-related messaging.
  
• Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and consistent with established editorial standards, brand voice, and digital content best practices.
  
• Maintain and publish content within an enterprise content management system (CMS).
  
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, UX, Operations, and business stakeholders to improve the customer experience.
  
• Apply best practices related to accessibility, SEO, information architecture, analytics, and AP Style.
  
• Support content governance, quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance of customer-facing content.
  
• Participate in an on-call rotation to publish time-sensitive operational communications, including weather delays, cancellations, and other service disruptions.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing customer-facing content for websites, mobile applications, or other digital platforms.
  
• Strong digital writing, editing, proofreading, and content strategy skills.
  
• Experience translating technical or policy-heavy information into clear, customer-friendly language.
  
• Experience creating customer-facing content for Generative AI (GenAI) applications.
  
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Knowledge Management.
  
• Experience working with enterprise content management systems.
  
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JSON fragments.
  
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant customer-facing digital writing experience.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the airline, travel, hospitality, or transportation industry.
  
• Experience with TeamSite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
  
• Knowledge of accessibility, SEO, information architecture, and digital content best practices.
  
• Project management experience within a digital or marketing environment.
  

Portfolio Requirements
A portfolio or professional writing samples are required for consideration. Samples should demonstrate the ability to transform complex policy or technical information into clear, concise, customer-facing digital content.

Please note that blogs, social media, editorial articles, and other marketing-focused writing samples alone will not satisfy the portfolio requirement.
Compensation & Benefits

• Hours: 40 hours per week
  
• Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Area
  
• Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday (5 days per week)
  
• Interview Process: Two interview rounds, including a technical writing assessment and portfolio review
  
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  
• Duration: 1 year with a high likelihood of extension
  
• Portfolio: Required for consideration
  
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) after 60 days, plus applicable PTO and sick leave in accordance with state and local law
