Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Optimize quality of life for residents in skilled nursing, assisted living and/or longterm care settings working alongside an interdisciplinary team that includes medical professionals, psychotherapists and facility staff. Assessment, diagnosis, treatment and medical management of conditions including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, and pre-existing mental illnesses. Maintain timely, accurate documentation. Provide education to facility staff regarding psychiatric care and patient needs.
