Experienced Bus/Diesel Service Technician If you are currently working as a Car, Truck, or Bus Technician (mechanical); Volvo engine preferred and would like a change from flat rate to an hourly rate with great benefits, this place is for you! We are looking for 1st Shift, Monday – Friday from 7:00AM – 3:30PM Diesel Service Technician Description Respect and care for the customer and their equipment. Develop personal, professional, and technical skills on a continual basis. Always act as a worthy representative of Prevost. Foster teamwork and improved communication between sectors. Respect the rules and guidelines of the company. Comply with the quality and safety standards of the organization. Build a lasting relationship with customers by providing excellent customer service, while upholding the level of quality required by our company. Diagnose and repair customer equipment. Complete documentation thoroughly and in a timely fashion per company requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on a continuous basis. Verify the materials and equipment are in compliance with ISO guidelines. Minimum Requirements High school degree or equivalent (PREFERRED). Alignment Experience (PREFERRED). Electrical diagnosis, Engine Diagnosis, and A/C diagnosis w/609 certification (PREFERRED). 1 year vocational (preferred). 4 years of on-the-job automotive or diesel mechanical experience (REQUIRED). Ability to read, write, and use a computer . Valid Driver’s License (REQUIRED). Basic mechanical tools and toolbox (REQUIRED). Lifting heavy objects 50+ pounds and more. For this position, the base pay is set at $25.00 - $35.00/ hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
