Job Description
Join Our Team as a Cardiac Care Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)


- Unit Details :
- Manage and care for patients with a variety of cardiac conditions, including:
- Chest Pain
- NSTEMI/STEMI
- Left/Right Heart Cath
- TEE
- Cardioversions
- Stress Tests
- Pacemakers
- AMI
- Afib
- CHF
- Bradycardia
- AICD Insertion
- SVT/Tachycardia


- Schedule & Compliance :
- Weekend work required: Every other weekend
- No Call Required
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- MAX 7 days RTO (Request Time Off)


- Holiday Work Expectations :
- Required to work major holidays if they fall within assignment period:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving/Black Friday
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve/New Year's Day


- Experience Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry
- Previous Charge Experience preferred
- Familiarity with Charting System (Epic preferred)


- Essential Certifications :
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS


- Skills :
- Expertise in Cardiac Telemetry
- Central line care/management
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Manage Cardiac and Vasoactive drips
- Post Cardiac procedures management
- Dysrhythmia management and isolation precautions


- Patient Care :
- Care for adults and geriatrics
- Daily census of 33 patients
- Interdisciplinary support with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more


- Orientation :
- Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- Compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start
