POSITION SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff and others as necessary. The primary duty is generating diagnostic images for physicians while implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary by the Manager and Supervisors. POSITION DETAILS Job title: Ultrasound Technologist Sign‑on bonus: $15,000 plus higher rates Department: Radiology Schedule: Overnights Tuesday through Friday, 9pm–7am RESPONSIBILITIES Generate diagnostic ultrasound images for physicians. Implement and follow departmental policies and procedures. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiologic and ultrasound equipment. Provide technical supervision to staff technologists and instruct students. Interact effectively with patients, addressing any apprehensions. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Associate's degree or equivalent from a two‑year college in Ultrasound Technology, or certificate program. RDMS certification required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 3 years of experience in ultrasound technology. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS In-depth understanding of principles and procedures of ultrasound. Proficiency with the operation and maintenance of radiologic and ultrasound equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and staff collaboration. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: $48.90–$62.03 per hour, based on qualifications.
