Trust & Estate Legal Assistant

Schmiedeskamp Robertson Neu & Mitchell LLP is looking for a Transactional Paralegal who can assist attorneys with all aspects of estate administration and planning as well as individual/corporate work. Responsibilities and Duties Organizing and analyzing asset information Valuation of assets Preparation of inventories Prepare asset transfer documents such as deeds and assignments Drafting probate pleadings, including fiduciary reports/accountings Assisting with Estate and Gift Tax return and Fiduciary return preparation Essential Capabilities Excellent writing and research skills Attention to detail, organization, and ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills. The team member will communicate with clients, family members, trustees, tax auditors, and other attorneys, and professionals. Candidate will maintain client files and prepare materials for client meetings and assist with other documents or paperwork Must be self‑motivated and must manage time well, work proactively, and be aware of any issues that need to be brought to the attorney’s attention Should be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Office, and Outlook Education Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program is preferable, but not required Experience A BA/BS with 1–4 years of related experience is preferable, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
