Title PA – Physician Assistant Pay $125k-150k base salary, goes up based on experience plus full benefits package Job Type Permanent / Direct Hire Setting Clinic / Surgery – Neuro & Spine Location San Antonio, TX Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, On-call within department Responsibilities The PA – Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing care in a clinic and hospital setting to neurology and spine patients. Duties include: Develop treatment plan for neurosurgical conditions within the scope of the practice and in conjunction with neurosurgeon Exercise judgement on conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising neurosurgeon First assist in surgery, closure of deep and superficial wounds Assist with all neurosurgical procedures to include cranial and spinal procedures, including instrumentation and microscopic procedures Conduct hospital rounds daily of all patients including intensive care unit Review X-rays, MRI, CT, miscellaneous images and labs of inpatient and office patients with the attending neurosurgeon Requirements Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas At least 1 to 2 years experience as a PA in a surgical and office environment required #J-18808-Ljbffr
