Job Title: High Voltage Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking skilled High Voltage Superintendents to oversee the installation and construction of approximately 189 miles of Transmission Line and Substations in Southern Nevada. The Superintendent plays a critical role in the successful execution of construction projects by providing on-site coordination for all project phases. This includes managing subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, maintaining schedule adherence, and prioritizing project site safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site coordination for all project phases, including oversight of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to project specifications and maintain schedule adherence.
• Prioritize project site safety and manage field operations.
• Conduct daily interaction with on-site personnel, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Review work plans, schedules, safety measures, environmental measures, quality control measures, and coordination of trades and equipment.
• Conduct daily site walks to verify installation status and ensure compliance with established procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Examine required construction/building permit inspections and ensure proper permit closeout documentation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure environmental compliance requirements are met.
• Oversee receiving permanent material and equipment deliveries, ensuring guidelines for handling, staging, and storage are followed.
• Participate in Quality Tours, Punchlist, Mechanical, and Substantial Completion walk-downs to ensure quality product delivery.
• Engage in root cause analysis as required to ensure corrective/preventative actions are generated and implemented.
• Provide strategic ideas and solutions regarding field operations and recognize risks in contracts, technical specs, and operations.
• Act as the Company's project site representative, maintaining positive interactions with project stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, substation, and high voltage projects.
• Ability to review work plans, means and methods, schedules, and coordination of trades and equipment.
• Knowledge of permit compliance and environmental compliance requirements.
• Understanding of quality control measures and inspection protocols.

• Substation Construction experience.
• Ability to think creatively and provide strategic solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mitigate risks.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted at the project sites, ensuring exposure to real-world construction environments and hands-on experiences with technologies and equipment. Per Diem will be available if coming from outside Las Vegas and company vehicle.

This is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
