The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking highly qualified individuals to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional . This position requires working with students with learning and behavioral needs. Candidates must be able to develop relationships with students as well as assist in building a positive classroom community.


Qualifications:

• High school diploma - Required
  AND
• Minimum of 60 college hours OR
• Completion of Substitute Certificate Course through Frontline Education OR
• Pass the ParaPro Assessment (prior to June 30, 2026) OR
• Pass the ParaPathways Assessment (July 1, 2026 forward)

Salary: $16.23 - $20.18/hour, based upon education and previous experience.


Benefits: This is considered a full time position with benefits available after 60 days of employment.
